PgTg Bridge Plug-ins
Introduction
This page contains plug-ins for PgTg Bridge. PgTg Bridge is a software package by KD4Z that connects your Flex-6000, Flex-8000 or Aurora series radios to various amplifiers. The package natively supports the Elecraft KPA-1500, KPA-500 and KAT-500 amplifiers and tuners. However, it is designed to support plug-ins for other amplifiers and tuners, and this page provides plug-ins for RF-Power (RFKit RF2K-S) and SPE Expert 1.3K-FA, 1.5K-FA and 2K-FA amplifiers. (The 1K-FA is not currently supported with a plug-in as it is a little older and uses a completely different interface protocol. It you have one of these and are interested send me an email at my qrz.com email address and maybe we can do something.)

Installation
Each plug-in is downloaded below as a .zip file. Extract the zip file, and run the setup program to install the plug-in you need. You must already have PgTg Bridge installed before the plug-in will install.
RF-Power (RFKit) Plug-in
This plug-in supports RF-Power (RFKit) amplifiers via REST HTTP API over a network connection. It has only been tested on an RF2K-S but should work OK on its predecessors. The API for these amplifiers currently does not support a TUNE command, so tuning the band segments using PgTg is not possible yet. This functionality has been requested for a future amp software release. You will need to tune all the band segments before using PgTg using the front panel or the VNC remote desktop. The API also does not support power on/off so for remote power on/off you will need to continue to use a remote relay solution to the RCA jack on the back of the amp.
SPE Expert Plug-in
This plug-in supports the SPE Expert 1.3K-FA, 1.5K-FA and 2K-FA amplifiers. There are two versions of the plug-in, one for amps that have the built-in tuner, and another for amps without a tuner. Power on/off is supported using PgTg, and tuning is supported using PgTg using the Tuner Genius TUNE button on SmartSDR.

KD4Z does not provide support for 3rd-party plug-ins, so don't contact him. You can also ask for help on the PgTg Bridge Groups.Io and Facebook groups. I try to monitor those.

Chrome is now blocking some of these downloads as "Insecure" because they are a zip file that contain exe's. To download, you will need to click on "Keep".
PLEASE NOTE - I do not have a code-signing certificate, nor am I going to go through the trouble and expense to get one. As a result, Windows will present you a SmartScreen warning when you try to use the installers below. Please click on More Info, then Run anyway to start the installer. I have more info on this on my web site here, or click the Smart App Control navigation button at the top of this page.
Also you should know that since these programs may be unfamiliar to your security (antivirus) software, you system may do a full scan before it will let you open them. That's a good thing. If you experience a delay when running them, it is probably being scanned the first time and just wait and then they will open once the scan is complete. It may even scan it twice, once when the zip file is opened, and again when the installer is run.
